I haven't had time to really play any dedicated poker. Last time i played was about 2 months ago a home game where I busted out on the bubble. Other then that i dabbled a little but on line nothing serious mainly freerolls on South Point poker, and Minted poker.

I have a lot of things going in my life at the moment. I do hope to return to poker sometime soon in the beginning of the new year 2012. To prepare for the WSOP Circuit event In west palm beach Kennel club in February.

Not that anyones looking at my dead blog anyway LMAOO! :) but hope to blog again sometime soon. And hey maybe tweet also. You can follow me on twitter. Look up MiamiMackk

2011 New Year….Similar plans

But this time with more follow through.

The beginning of 2010 for me poker wise I was on a roll and doing great, playing cash games at the Magic Casino.

But like always in my tuff finical life I had to spend the small roll I made on bills. “Sigh” And I’m sure you're all aware the hard times we are all going through with the depression. Yes I said depression….

I had plans of vblogg but my old digital camera couldn’t handle the job. I tried a test run on the old camera but it failed. Since then I bought a brand new Bloggie Digital camera by Sony, and it looks like a go for vblogging.

Like I mentioned a new year with similar plans, going to hit the cash tables again in various places and work up my bank roll again, But a with a twist!

With the changes in gambling laws here in Florida we now can play high stakes. And because of this the World Series of Poker Circuit is coming here to Florida in mid February.

So guess where I will be? Yup at the Series!

PokerStars Million Dollar Challenge Qualifier.

I haven't posted anything for a very long time. I had thoughts of possible Video blogging here my run at the casinos in the beginning of the year with my results and I had every intention of doing it. I did record on my very first day but my camcorder is very cheap and the copy came out extremely dark and no way of adjusting it. So that meant me having to buy a new one which also I intended of ding because for the first few weeks of my run I was doing great and I was build a nice little bank roll.

But like always in my life something came up where I had no choice but to dip into my bankroll and use the money for an emergency. (Sigh)

So again I have to start from scratch and start all over again.

Anyway, I played a day ago or so a qualifier on PokerStars.com for the “PokerStars Million Dollar challenge” And low and behold I beat out 8900 players to make top 20. So that qualified me to make an audition tape for a chance for me to be film in LA for the show. Filming begins 31Jul-06August so I’m keeping my fingers crossed. This could be my big break I have been dreaming of. This could be step foreword for me in becoming a future Poker Pro.

I had heard of the show but cant view here. I have Direct TV but for some reason and another that channel that is on in my area has some other programming (that really sucks) But thank god for YouTube I can still view the show there.

Anyway I haven't gotten the invite yet to turn in the audition tape but I'm going to be ready just in case. My two buddies and I are getting together tomorrow night and get the audition tape done and ready. If I get lucky enough to get chosen I’ll be taking my Best friend Oscar and close friend Willie. Which both were from my former crew the Poker Knights of Miami.

ONE TIME!!

I was taking a smoke break outside at work today (yes, I smoke Black n Mild’s) when a co worker friend joined me. After a small chit chat with pleasantries and commenting on how overload work and short pay tirades a small pause.

I comment to her, “Man.... Just ONE TIME!” she instantly knew what I meant by that comment. She knows I’m an avid poker enthusiast and have dreams of one day winning a big one (a big money Score).

To my surprised she asked me in a very straight and direct way (not rude).

What would you do if you won?

Hmmmmmm.......

Just like 95% of all low buy in poker players all of them have those dreams of becoming a high roller the big high stakes player ….To becoming a PRO!
Well we all have this dream and I’m also one of those people.

To answer her question I mention a new poker show that’s on TV called “Face the Ace”.
They have online qualifiers tournaments that I had mention to her that I have been playing.
I explained to her if I happen to win a spot on the show.
I would have a shot of three big money prizes.
I went further to explain that on the show I would have to beat out 3 professional poker pros in order to win certain amounts of money.

Beat the 1st pro win: 40k

Beat the 2nd pro win: 200k

Beat the 3rd pro win; 1 million

So I broke it down to her like this.

First off it would be a miracle that I could win a spot on this show. Not because I don’t consider myself a good player or believe in my poker skills. It’s simply because the amount of people trying to win a spot on this show online.
Just even trying to register online for a shot to the qualifiers is a hit or miss.
If any of you ever tried to just register for the two tournaments that run every 5-10 minutes they fill up so fast, within 1-2 seconds (no joke) don’t believe me?
Go check it out yourself on full tilt. You’ll quickly see that I’m not exaggerating.

Anyway going back, winning the prizes, I broke it down to her like this:

40k Win: After deciding whether to keep the 40k or go on and try for the 200k.
Keep the 40k, I would pay off some small backed up bills and keep my job. Pad a bankroll and try to grind my way up (brick and mortar not online). The road to becoming a pro a decent starting bankroll of like (10-20k) would be an excellent start in my opinion.

Grinding the low stakes cash games and working your way up with good money management of course. This would also help me get my one here to the USA. (Some my know what I mean by my the one, but only the people that are really close to me might understand what I’m talking about in reference to the one).

200k Win: After deciding whether to keep the 200k or go for the million.

Keep the 200k things would change. I would have to come to the decision of which most likely would be to quit my job here and I would move to Vegas and work par time their. While making poker my 2nd part time gig.
Help my family out and take care of my kids finically while also speeding the process of getting my one here in the USA.

1 Million Win: This would defiantly be a life changer.

This would be the ultimate goal to achieve.

I would no doubt make Vegas my new residence. Again do whatever it takes to make my family comfortable. No doubts have my one here in the USA. And I make poker my fulltime gig.

I would love to do the poker tours to play out of county tournaments.
To conclude: Though I don’t play as much poker as I did back in the days. I still have the dreams and love for the game and the will to make it big.

All I need is just…………………………………..ONE TIME

Labor Day wknd @ HardRock Hollywood.

I played the 8k guarantee tournament at the HardRock Hollywood this past Labor Day weekend. Buy-in was $75. Plus $10 for an extra 1000 chips total starting chips 5k with 20 minute blinds not a bad structure.

I won the first hand of on the table, I was holding a J10 suited on the big blind middle position limped and 2 more after him small blind folded the blinds at 25/50. The flop came 6,10,4. I bet the pot which was about 200 or so.

Middle position, who had limped, raised to 400 the rest players folded and it came to me.

I took a glance at him not knowing him of course and being that this is the first hand my impression of him I got was of a bully aggressive type and I was right. I called his bet the river came Q.
I bet out 800 thinking he didn’t have the Q but he insta called me.

The river came 3 the board by the way was rainbow so I didn’t put him on any flush or a straight maybe a set or maybe two pairs.

I decided to bet out again but this time just made a small bet just threw in 500 just to see what his reaction and he mucked.

I showed my J10 but no response. Later I noticed my instinct were right about him he played a very hyper aggressive game.
After everyone buy into the tournament which there were many alternates waiting, the total counts of players came to199.
The prize pool came to close to 12k.
Close to the first break they announce the prize top5 get paid. HUH WHAT?? TOP 5???

There are 199 players and there only paying top 5? That’s not top 10%. Some of the players at my table agreed but, no changes where made and they kept it as is.

Maybe its my own fault I should have asked what the payout structure was before I bought in. But oh well a little to late for that now.

My stack kept going up and down made a few bets I shouldn’t have and folded on a few hands that I shouldn’t have.

Ten minutes before break I got moved to another table and I had been card dead the whole time same with the new table. At mid position I caught a J10 suited I decided to just limp in to see If I can get lucky and just go all in on the flop.

But the big blind who was heavy stacked decided to go all in I had like 700 chips left the blinds where 400 plus 25 ante. So I decided to just roll the dice.

He flipped over pocket queens I knew it was over then he had me dominated. No luck on the flop, turn or river for me in-fact he hit a set on the turn and It was over for me. I busted out 100th.

All in all I did enjoy the tournament I was very pleased in what I saw on how a very big majority of the players there at the rock where playing. They seems very knowledgeable and seemed like everyone was on there game.

I actually walked out of there not upset, I’m normally heated and pissed because in other casinos I would get suckout on or get bad beat (you can find out which casino by reading my previous posts).

I played an OK game I wasn’t greatly happy on how I played but not to make excuses I haven’t been playing much lately anyway.

Which go’s into my update on APPT satellites.

Straight up!! I didn’t get to play like I wanted too.

I’m not going to get into the why I didn’t play but I just didn’t. (Simple enough)

What’s in the future for me in poker and plans you might ask!?

Well I had thoughts of heading back to Hong Kong in March or April (non poker involved) but that Idea got smashed to bits by my other half who bluntly said No.
She says she won’t have any free vacation time Hmmmm ok!! That sucks!!
Here comes another year again without seeing her.

Ok fine, so what now??

I have about 13 days of free vacation times at this point and more to come. What to do and where to go!??

New/Old Poker challenge

To start, and to update a little our team broken down at the end of the Pokerhost WSOP league pass tournaments. The bluffers team held on to 3rd place for awhile. But for one reason or another we couldn’t get beyond that. And in the end we ended up 7th place out of 19 teams.

It was great to team up withe BLUFFers we had good team. I hope if there is another team tournament. I would be considered again into the team. Over all my ranking out of 189 players I ranked 42nd which I think is not to bad considering.

In other news.

At Miami Jai alaI I’ve been playing the tournaments almost every two weeks falling pretty deep each time and casing inthe money. But i have yet to hit first place.I’ll keep going just so I can get out and throw some chips. I’ve gotten pretty comfortable there I know some of the staff already and some of the players have pretty good respect for me and my game. I have a few acquaintance players there now.

Ok, new agenda, goals, target, mission, plans, whatever you wanna call it! I new aim in poker!! WSOP 2009 in Vegas is pretty much out of reach for me this year since its almost already here by the end of this month. So I’ve decided to just let it go and not try any longer to get there for this year. So coming up in August or September is the APT & APPT (Asian poker tour & Asian pacific poker tour) They both have tournaments in Macau China.

If you’ve read my blog you’ll know that I have visited Macau in the past and I’m very familiar with. So far from what I have researched Pokerstars Hosts the APPT and has the qualifier satellites. So I’ll be on there soon and try there steps program and work my way to a seat.

Not the APT schedule is already up but as for yet they only so far have qualifier seats on sites that don’t allot US players. So I hope that one of the poker sites jump on soon. So I can also play for a seat there.

As I was writing the new blog post I found this tidbit if information about APT:

The Asian Poker Tour has announced it has received government approval to expand its offerings at APT Macau. As a result, the 2009 APT Macau event coming this August has been expanded from six days to 12 and has been renamed the Asian Poker Tour Macau Festival. The event will run August 12-23 at the Galaxy StarWorld Hotel and Casino in Macau. The APT also sponsors the poker room at the StarWorld.

The festival will include high-limit cash games, sit-'n'-go action and a varied but not yet released lineup of preliminary events. The main event is set, however, running August 19-23 and featuring three separate Day 1 starting sessions. The buy-in for that event will be US $4,300 ($4,000+300). Also returning is a "high rollers" event; tournament organizers promise a higher buy-in than in 2008, but have not yet formalized its structure. World-traveling tournament director Matt Savage will return to head up the festivities.

The 2008 APT Macau Main Event was won by 20-year-old Russian Yevgeniy Timoshenko, who claimed the inaugural event's $500,000 first-place prize over a field that included a large number of prominent international stars. Among those who participated were Doyle Brunson, Johnny Chan, John Juanda, Huck Seed, Jack Binion, Liz Lieu, Todd Brunson, Kenny Tran and several soon-to-be members of the "Poker Pack" -- Nam Le, Quinn Do, JC Tran, Steve Sung, David "Chino" Rheem and Kwang Soo Lee – which focuses on emerging Asian poker stars. More than 40 countries were represented at the inaugural APT Macau event.

According to Asian Poker Tour CEO Chris Parker, "The Asian Poker Tour Macau Festival will feature a side event schedule never seen in Asia before, including several new formats that will stir the curiosity of poker enthusiasts at all levels. We believe Asia's first festival of poker will establish Macau as an essential stop on the international poker circuit."

Other news, I'm currently in the Bluffers team for WSOP League pass tournament on pokerhost.com Tournament starts on April 1st / 8 games in total for points Top teams with highest points wins $1500 buy-in +$500 airfare.

I'm super hyped about this our teams is pretty good in my oppinion they are from Bluff magazine form.

Wish me happy flops !! I will update once the tourny starts.

A long overdue post.

It’s been 4 months since my last blog post. A guess with holidays and the economic money crunch “poker” hasn’t been much of a priority for me lately. I’ve played a few tables here and there since my last post. I’ve played 3-4 more of the since my last post at Miami JAI-AlAI there re-buys freerolls. I make it deeper and deeper each time I play but only top 3 players get paid and theirs usually about 50-60 people playing. In mid December of last year I finally played with some of the poker knights it was good to see the old crew again. I hadn’t played with them since that last early February. About 16 players showed up. I played my usually way with them nothing fancy. Busted out 6th place. I had been running card dead most of the night. I think back just a year before in 2007 I was playing about 10-15 games nightly online SnG, small freeze outs tournaments and SnG turbo including cash games on Carbon poker all online including every other week playing live with the knight’s poker league.And all of that came to a crashing Holt!! I just stopped. Now what takes up all of my times at night is (Believe it or not) is Guild Wars. Yes you read right I said GUILD WARS. My son introduced me to the game and I’ve been hooked on it. I love the game. I created a guild hall which I have currently 42 members the game is a lot of fun. Guild wars I’m kind of glad takes up a lot of my time. It distracts my mind from online poker which to this day I refuse to go back too on a daily grind. I still wish to play poker but as I’ve stated in previous post I will keep it to playing live.I hope to get live poker started again more sometime mid February this year. I’m waiting to pad a small BR by then. Other than that I might be heading out to my favorite play ground Vegas some time at the end of February as well will see what happens. Anyway that’s all for now I hope to blog a little sometime soon once I get the poker ball rolling again. Peace MiamiMackk

Grade VERY well deserved

Two posts down below I graded a few poker venues based on how people play. Miami Jai AL-LI was one of them. For the past month I’ve been playing a few of there freerolls (yes I understand it’s freerolls). The grade I gave them is warranted if not even lower.
I would say about 95% of playing field have no clue on what Position, Pot odds , Value betting… etc. etc are. They simple have no clue at all. I’m sure a lot of you have played freerolls online at different sites like pokerstars. Well playing the freerolls at Miami jai al is just like it, but to a worse degree. (And this is live play folks!!).
Here two examples. This past Saturday I went in for the freeroll. You start off with 1000 in chips with 15 min blinds ( yes the structures sucks royal but it’s a freeroll ) blinds start of 25-50. Your allowed re-buys for the first hour $5. Gets you 600 chips $10 gets you 1500 chips.
Too the table: I play tight because just from the first hand alone I noticed limps over raises out of position plays and tells galore. A few orbits go buy and we are at 50-100. I get pocket 3,3 one time and pocket 6,6 I decided to limp since I see everyone doing the same and no big raise just to see a flop on booth hands. No luck I muck both hands.

Finally grab a nice hand A,K suited spades. , blinds are 100-200 and I have 700 in chips left So I raise all in to try to get as much people off there hands as possible ( it didn’t work). 6 people called out 10 on the table. I knew my chances for my hand to hit was very slim. They flip over 9,10 off suit / Q,10 off suit / K,7 off suit / A,3 D / A, 8 / and the only legit hand was one guy holding Pocket 8-8. Flop turn and river no justice for me and Q,10 wins.
I re-buy 1500 chips one orbit goes buy I’m big blind. Limp, limp, limp, limp. My hand pocket 10,10 surely if I go all in with 1500 chips people will fold now right??!!?? Fold fold fold ,,,,NOTTTTTTT !! Mr. Q,10 from the previous hand decides to call from mid position. J,9 off suite. (yes I said JACK, NINE OFFSUIT ). Here comes the Flop!! OMFG!!! UN FUCKING REAL. He flops a straight. To my set 10,10. Only thing that can save me is if the board pairs to catch a boat (full house). Of course it doesn’t happen and I’m sent walking. Too tilted to re-buy again….. So I leave.

Will I play there again? Yes I will because of variance and I know sooner or later it will be my turn to luck box a hand from these donks and I will have a good amount of chips at one point to continue on. So I’ll play again. I know my time will come as long as I keep going in with the best hands.

Almost a flawless game...Keeping a positive Light!

Well as I mention in my last post. I went ahead (with the graces of god) started my live game quest.

This past Sunday I went out to the Flagler dog track entered there MTT tournament. A total of 23 players (kinda small) but good none the less.

I was determined to come out of the tournament in the money... at the very least.

Top 3 players get paid blinds started at 50/100 in 15 minute blinds with 3000 in chips not the best blind structure infact I feel it sucks, but oh well I made the best of it.

The table I was on had a mix of different players. I made sure to make a quick study of every player at my table before I made any moves.
I decided to play TAG style, the table was very loose with allot of overbets very early in the game.

Throwing away hands gave everyone at my table the impression of me being a tight player (and that's what I wanted).

Finally landed my very first strong hand.... What else ? but my favorite hand Pocket KINGS and on the big blind.

Everyone at the table limped in and I 4 bet.. knocked everyone out but one. Flop was a rainbow nothing to fear. I made a strong bet out he folds and I show them my cards ....I rake the pot.

Very Next hand I get Pocket Queens and I'm the small blind player mid and late position limps in I 4 pet again.

Everyone folds.. I showed my cards again. Now for sure they they knew I would only play with premium cards . That's when I started to take advantage.

Stole a few pots after with strong bluff bets. My chips stack is rising and I'm feeling good. Another hand I took advantage of and did it to confuse them a bit.

I limped in mid position with 7h 8h. No raises so I got to see the flop.

I flop a rainbow straight 10 high. Villain bets out small I'm thinking he hit the 10 so I slow played the hand and called. The turn brings out a Ks which puts out a potential flush draw for him, so I'm fearing the flush a little on the river villain puts out another small bet not even pot size so I go over the top for all his chips.

He tanks for a few minutes and mucks I rake the pot and showed. I don't normally like to show cards but I did it too try to confuse them all a little and let them think I'm at a wider range.

I played what I feel was flawless, I maybe stumbled twice during the whole tournament but I was smart enough to fold both times before It got me into trouble.

Made it to the final table to heads up play.

Richard (MiamiTony) happened to have showed up at the track and witnessed my final table.

(Fastforword) Last play in the hand I kinda questioned myself, but I asked Rich what his opinion was on my last hand how I played it and he feels I played it correctly.

I'll explain.. I was big blind ( heads up he is the chipleader) 1600/800 300 ante.

He calls on small blind, I had about 9 big blinds left in chips with a A,7, suited.

I figured I would go all in in hopes of a steal since he just called small blind. But it just so happens he had pocket 9,9, and he calls my bet.

His hand holds up and wins and I bust out 2nd place. I feel I could have held on a little bit longer and out play the chip leader but all in all I did make the correct play. I tripled up my money so not too bad of a session.

Going to save up the winnings for a Bankroll. Not sure if I'll hit the dog again this weekend coming but I will for sure go again the week after.

Will see what happens, I will keep you up to date.

Once I have a few more games in i will show some stats.

APPT or even APT ...Not to be..the plan

Not this year at least.
Not going to really get into details but as we all know times are tough and just trying to get a spare dime these days (at least for me) is almost impossible.

I was able to play a few free rolls for the APT on Bodog and get deep in a few but you had to take it down at 1st place to win a satellite seat. Oh well like I said maybe next year.
It still wont stop me from heading out to Asia. I'm planing a trip out there again I hope in February or March of 09. And of course I'll make a stop in Macao.
Back to poker,,,I hope (and I do say this loosely) I HOPE (if the stars are aligned and everything falls in place) I hope (if something doesn't pop up last minute like always) I HOPE to play this coming Sunday at the Dog track. They have a small buy in MTT tournament going on there on Sunday. And again I HOPE to play a few sit n goes if I happen to bust out early form the tournament.
I've Been thinking about working my way up in poker. Sorta like going through Elementary all the way too collage. Each time graduating to the next place and next level of play.

This is what I mean.
Not to insult anyone that actually plays in these places by grading it in this form I'm sure there a few very good players in each of these places. But in my OPINION because i have played in all of these places listed. I have based my opinion according to my observation and graded the poker play in this form. (not that I'm claiming to be some expert by the way).

I'm sure there are allot in California like the bike and the Bay 101 that are I'm sure High level players. But I have not yet experienced playing in Cali or Fox woods Ct. for that matter. Those are places I hope to check out one day soon.

My Idea is to work my way up the ladder one or two places from each category. Now I know what you may be thinking. Why not play where the money is easy. Why play where the money is harder. Well I think that's an easy to question.

Yes I play for the money.But I also want any notoriety that my come by playing with the big ballahs. The Big boys!! And I also want the person that I'm playing a hand against know the reason that I'm 3 or 4 betting and have the smarts enough to fold to my bet.

It would be easy to play all the small stakes for cash (if I even had a bankroll to play with, which I don't) and just stay there. But that's not my goal. So I'm starting small and working my way up.

Starting to get that Poker itch again...

Lately, I’ve been getting the urge to play again. I don’t understand why because I totally distant myself from everything that had to do with poker.

Before I decided to stop, I was at every poker forum, and poker news sites. I was up-to-date with what was happenning, who made it where, and what place they made it too.

I knew who was the WSOP final table, how much chips they had and how much was top prize. I was ontop of everything that had to do with poker.

Just today, I found out they have there final 9 players for the main event at WSOP.
That goes to show you how much I tuned out poker.

I just so happened to visit the Bluff magazine forum out of bordem, (4 days ago).

And I noticed one of there banners ”APPT” Asian Pacific Poker Tour in Macau China.
Now if you’ve read my Blog before you know I’ve been to Macau before.

And there are two big reasons why I would want to go back.

So Like I previously mention on my older post. If something big happens to comes up, that is land based I will play Online poker for a satellite or main event seat.
So I have decided to play on Dolyespokeroom for I hope a seat.

I will keep you posted on my progress. In the hopes to bring you some positive news.

BTW- I wont be using my MiamiMackk nor PokerknightMiami nick at Doyle's room. I have a brand new name and it’s!!!!!!! ………………………………… ;oP

There’ll be no sharkscoping or tracking my stats or knowing my patterns of play for that matter this time!! LoL

Bluff Season 1 Final rank standings

In case anyone was wondering here is the final standing of the Bluff magazine poker league which I played in.

There where 27 tournament's I played a total 18 of them Final tabled 4 time one of them busting out 3rd place. Never got to take one of the tournaments completely down for a 1st place win.

The total amount of players that participated through out the tournament's, according to the list there where 270 players (atleast that's what was posted on the forum it could have been why more).

Overall I feel that through out most of the tournaments I played pretty well. In the end I could have stuck it out and mad it to top 10 but for me, it was either top 3 for the main prizes 1 or nothing at all.

As for my play! Of course I did make some bone head move that bust me out early on 1 or two tourneys and of course the donk plays by others and vicious sucks are always going to come no matter what.

Over my Ending rank is 23rd, not to bad i think.

In other News I have not played a lick of poker for a few months.

I would love to get back on the poker horse but its not possible at this time for a few serious reasons which i wont make public.

I'm officially done with BPL

I have called it quits with the BPL.

Two weeks ago I was 2nd to bust out of a Field of 36 players because of a Donk play by a player named leeman.
He fished to catch a str8 on the river while the whole time I'm making over bets raises to stop him. But the Donk kept calling every bet..... and out I went!!! ... Whatever!!!
I believe that was on week 21.

On week 22 I totally missed that tournament because of personal reasons. Just to much on my mind ..stress I would have just played terrible so I just didnt play.

So of course, down even more went my rank.

Because of this.... my rank is at:

There are only 4 tournaments left. And the top 3 have well over 2000 points.
Even if I were to make final tables and bust out high enough I would not make it to top 3.
Which are the prizes I was shooting for.

Also, because thee tournaments are coming down to the wire, more and more people are not playing.
Which in turns means less points. So its useless for me to continue.

So I will finish up the little money I have left on carbon and as i mention in previous post.
Once the money is gone....So will I be form online poker. Forever?? Dunno!!

As for live play....PokerKnightsMiami League have been on hiatus. I haven't played or scheduled anything with the league since final table.

Casinos- I haven't stepped foot in one in a few months.

No I'm not quiting poker.......But until further notice its on the back burner.

Missed tournament 18 but played week 19.

I began very slow to th epoint where I thought I was going to get knocked out but got lucky..and ran well to make it too the final table as chip leader. At the final table the cards turned me again. But manage to bust out 5th in the money. Which keeps me alive for the rest of the tournament series.

BPL Week 17 & PKM Update

Week 17 of the BPL I busted out 28th..To drop me in Rank to 24th place.

I have just enough to play week 18. It do or die becasue once this last buy in is gone so will I be from the online scene. I'm not going deposit anymore... ANYWHERE!!!

If buy chance you do see me on line it would only be a freeroll or maybe a land base satallite.

PKM- I got very frustrated and pissssssed off.... I caught three sets and all three sets I got Turned or Riverd by obsolete hands. Which crippled my stack and had to play catch up the rest of the tournament.
Hands that they should have NOT been in with on a of course big open riase and continuation bets I made.
Needless to say I busted out 5th out 9 players.

Very upsetting for me. And it Tranished My final table streek of cashing for the past 2 years.

BPL Update week 15 & 16

Week 15 I busted out 32nd

I was doing very well great chip stack and then it happens mid way with of course AK I thought someone was making a move on me so I pushed and he had AA. Cut my stack in half. Then very next hand I get KK and bet heavy and one pushes all in with...... ???? Yes A,K and guess what happens?? But of course he flops an A. And i'm dead! In two hands I went from a 3rd in chips to Out!

Ranking drops me down too 16th.

As for week 16 I didnt play. I was out of town on a bussiness confrence and could not play work work work all day and into the night. So I'm sure my rank will be even lower.

Will see what week 17 brings.

Poker Knights Mami League Final table finally will be played this weekend. I will let you know what happens. I'm still currently ranked 2nd place.

Casino- I played this past weekend at the Old Seminol casino "oh my god" there such HORRID play going on there. Shit I never seen such fucked up Donks at the cash table. But I came out a little ahead. Think I will concentrate on the SitnGo when I'm there next.

Week 12 BPL update & future comments

I haven't updated in two week because of the holidays. My ranking and my BR have taken a wicked blow. Today may be my last BPL tournament. Unless I hit the money. If I don't hit the money I made a promise to someone else and myself that I would not deposit anymore online. In essence my online poker playing will no longer exist.

If I ever play online again it will be strictly for satellites into live events no more grinding.

I would be moving on to live play only. My BR for live play is going to be replenished sometime this month. So I'm moving on to just playing at the tracks & casinos. Including trips to Atlantic City , Foxwoods CT, California and of course Vegas.

I will miss online, I've met some of the coolest people, playing with the (Bluff Forum). Including AJ over at rakereport.com I will continue going on to the forums but probably not as often. mainly just to keep up to date on whats happening in poker.

Anyway here is a screen shot of the last rankings:

Dropped to 17th- I would have to have a 1st place win in order to contend for the top prizes, its almost un reachable at this point. It would have to be a miracle and the top 10 players would just have to have terrible runs in order for this to happen.

My BR nose dive. Un fucking real its like they turned on the "Doom switch" on me at Carbon and not just turned it on but placed it on high. Oh and yes I'm one of those guys that feels online CAN be rigged.

Don't Believe it? Just do a quick Google search and type in Poker Super accounts, Or Poker Bots, Or Poker Multi accounts and read for yourself. I'm not claiming Carbon poker has any of this stuff going on. But shit, the incredible beats, suckouts, and river flushes they have been dishing me lately have been brutal. And my Bankroll shows the proof.

As for the Poker Knights League.

We have yet to play out final table I'm still currently Ranked in 2nd place (see live play works for me). Our final table is scheduled for February 9th. I'll let you know how it turns out there.

Also once I get start on my quest. I will post whats been happening.

Week10 BPL update/Frustrating

I busted out 32 last night. Rank drop AGAIN!

This will explain whats going "conversation" bluff froum.

Eric, I don’t think he was zeroing in on you (but I could be wrong) this is the same person that called my preflop raises and bets all the way to the river with a J,10off .. And yes he caught the 10 on the river. This was right before you came to the table.
Now Last night I can admit I played horrid. Honestly I even felt like un-registering before the start of the tournament because I was already in a very bad mood.
Lately I have been playing allot of the cash games (and doing well) and I have kept track of how many hands dealt to me and hands I’ve won.

Last nite I had 101 hands dealt and only won 9 hands. I knew right there that It was going to be a long bad night (though I do understand that things can change) but notice by playing allot on Carbon software that once I see I'm on a bad run like this, it does NOT come out to be profitable. Usually it ends on a bad nite.
I don’t like to put my business out there but I consider everyone on this forum (Bluffers) as fam.

Women can be so stubborn and selfish and thoughtless. I’ve explained to my lady time and time again. When I play what I feel is an important tournament "BPL". I need to have peace of mind and not play in a bad, sad, pissy or to be distracted. I need to concentrate on the game. Time and time again she picks this day to want to have a big conversation or nit pick or blow up my AIM while tournament is on or just to push my buttons.

For the past three weeks now my play has been horrid because of this distraction. Last nite the same shit! Any advice ? Sorry had to let out some steam.

I do want to apologize to shamaliz. I went off in the room on him when he made that play. That’s not normally me, I was already heated and that play got me in a worse mood and u got the brunt of it.

Also to the players at the last table were I busted out at I did see you say "GG" (good game) and I just left. Like I just mention before I was in a pissy mood.
But that you for the GG I appreciate it. Sorry about all this I guess I just need to vent!

I sure you see what I'm going through. I love my women to death but she cannot for some reason understand that I need to be FOCUSED when I play and not distracted mad or pissy. Yet she eaither doesnt get it or cares. She doesnt seem to want to understand that if i benefit in the game $$$$$ she gets some as well. And i have explained this to her over and over again.
